DiaCom Corporation Strengthens Presence in Asia

Appoints Tom Lonfei, Sales Engineer for China

Amherst, NH, August 1, 2009 ...DiaCom Corporation, a global leader since 1983, has been committed to a single goal– the design and production of the finest molded Elastomeric diaphragm seals available for industrial applications, announced today that it has strengthened its Asian operations by appointing Tom Longfei to the newly created position of Sales Engineer, China. Mr. Longfei will be based in Beijing, China and will report directly to Diacom’s Director of Sales and Marketing, Bob Doyle.

DiaCom began it’s global expansion in 2004 when it appointed Ron Higginson, European Sales Manager.  Ron came to DiaCom with 20 years plus experience in the process controls industry.  Ron is based in the UK and handles all European sales for DiaCom.   

Mr. Longfei will be responsible for managing DiaCom’s business development across China and driving the marketing effort in China for our Molded Elastomeric diaphragm seals.

Prior to joining DiaCom Corporation, Mr. Longfei has spent his professional years specializing in the sales and marketing of  industrial controllers.  Tom also has several years experience with marketing both print and internet media.  Mr. Longfei brings a wealth of technical experience and a keen understanding of the Chinese market. “I am delighted to be working for a company that is recognized as an Industry Leader. Tom’s global product-management experience is an excellent fit for our Asian operations. India and South America are our next target growth areas. Our plan is to add a direct sales presence in India and Brazil over the next year. Victor Torres handles Latin and South American sales for DiaCom currently from our Amherst, NH office.”
