Dia•Com continues to grow and
expand our services and capabilities to better serve our customers.
Some of the recent additions include:
- Dia•Com built a fully capable
tool machine shop in spring of 2003. This addition allows
us to reduce our costs to our customers as well as lead
times on tooling.
- Lab mill for in-house material
development since summer ’03 which will allow our full
time chemist to experiment with new materials to help meet
the needs of our customers.
- Stand-alone materials testing
laboratory for development, investigation and verification
of materials since fall of ’03.
- Dia•Com has recently introduced
a superior Chloramine resistant elastomer which utilizes
FDA approved ingredients. The superior chloramine
resistance of this material is generating extensive interest
in many water applications where chloramine attack has been
a problem in the past.
- Dia•Com is currently testing
a proprietary elastomer formulation to meet NSF Standard
61. Testing and approval should be complete by February
’04.
In 1995, Dia•Com was one of the
first companies in North America to obtain ISO and QS 9000
approval. Dia•Com will be moving to TS-16949 in the spring
of 2004 and again will be one of the first companies in North
America to achieve this designation. Dia•Com’s continued
commitment to improved quality product to our customers is
evident through our commitment to continually improving our
Quality Systems.
