Dia•Com has been certified to ISO-9001 and QS-9000 by TUV Essen (Germany). QS-9000 defines the functional quality system expectations for suppliers to Chrysler, Ford Motor Company, and General Motors. Based on ISO-9001, QS-9000 supplemental quality system requirements include detailed plans for continuous improvement, manufacturing and process capability, and customer specific requirements. Dia•Com has made a strategic decision to adopt the use of the ISO/TS16949 Quality management system, the new international standard that has been developed to supercede the QS system. Dia•Com has been audited and is the first in our industry to be recommended for TS certification.
Dia•Com’s “Diatrac” system enables 100% lot trace ability. SPC, FMEA’s, 8D analysis, Process Control Plans, and Process Capability Studies are routinely used in accordance with automotive and industrial requirements. Zero-defect sampling and continual in-process quality audits insure dimensional and material integrity.
